About Lachlan's Garden
Lachlan's Garden is a memorial garden, planted with Australian natives, most species local to this region and the intention is to enable revegitation of this degraded land with local species of increased diversity.
We created this garden to honour and remember Lachlan, who died by suicide in 2021. When Lachlan died, our friends and family and neighbours were devastated. Lachlan's presence in our lives matters, and we miss him so much.
Kez and Campbell suggested we plant some trees to have somewhere we can go to remember Lachlan. This was how Lachlan's garden started. It is a serene spot for contemplation, constantly developing.
It is a garden for everyone.
